Proof of Concept
Using A-CUBE's technology, we have predicted novel epitopes on multiple well-characterized proteins currently targeted for therapeutic intervention. Two of these proteins were selected for rational monoclonal antibody discovery campaigns - in both cases functional antibodies were raised against epitopes specifically identified by A-CUBE's algorithms.Subsequently, we selected and characterized murine mAbs recognizing two novel and spatially distinct epitopes on human c-Met. Since mAb binding to either of these epitopes demonstrated ability to neutralize human c-Met function in vitro, we are conducting further preclinical studies aimed at confirming mechanism(s) of action and providing proof-of-concept of efficacy in xenographic cancer models.
